Daily Human – Elastic Pants – 10/9/21

I have no clue how I end up thinking about these things and making these connections.

I still remember when I stopped wearing pants with elastic bands. It was an important moment in my life. It made me feel that I was no longer a kid.

And then after all these years, I started wearing pants with elastic once again. In a slightly different way though. They pants are called stretchable jeans. Technically, I am wearing elastane and not elastic. But its the same thing.

Once upon a time the elastic helped keep pace with a growing boy. Now the elastic helps in managing the fluctuations of my waistline.

Life has come full circle.
