CaratLane Stories – The Old Aunty and Dosham free solitaire earrings.

This is a few months after we had launched. An old aunty came to our office. She was referred to us by Jaipur Gems. They did lots of similar acts of kindness in those early days. It was Mithun’s family business and he had instructed them. But still it was very generous of them.

Anyways, back to the customer. She was a proper rich Tamil Brahmin lady who lived in one of the posh neighbourhoods which have bungalows. She wanted a pair of solitaire earrings for her daughter who lived in Australia.

These are stories about our journey. Many of them are in my head. I want to write them down before I forget about them or become affected by retrospective vision. Deep in my heart I hope they become part of a book some day. Which tells the CaratLane story.
